Low Fat Seasonings

Do you remember the commercial, "Everything's better with butter". Well, it sure tastes better, but it's not better for you. There must be some other ways to make your food savory. Here are some low-calorie flavor enhancers. Try adding one of these to your mashed potatos or vegetables: mustard, salsa, hot sauce, chipotle or chili powder, lemon, dill, garlic, jalepeno, onion, cinnamon (on canned pumpkin), soy sauce, and chicken broth.
